LANSDOWNE HOUSE
Upstairs, there are three beautifully appointed
guest rooms with one very special honeymoon suite. Each of the rooms
has an iron and ironing board for guests as well as a hairdryer.
Upon arrival you will notice that there are
flowers and a well stocked fruit bowl in each of the rooms which is
replenished daily.
There is also a guest kitchen on this floor with
a fridge for cold water and ice as well tea and coffee facilities
available at any time. A laundry and ironing service is also
available.

The Williams Suite:
Very large,
very grand and very beautiful. This room has a king size
sleigh bed with a superior quality mattress and top of the
range Sheridan linen. The curtains are beautiful and there
are several large mirrors as well as gorgeous table lamps.
There is an open fire to toast your toes on a chilly evening
and antique chairs to sit on whilst enjoying a glass of
wine. A well appointed en suite has just been finished and
has been matched so well that it is impossible to tell that
it is new. Guests, however, are also welcome to use the main
bathroom, which, like everything else in this house, is
enormous with one of the biggest walk in showers ever built!
The shower has just been recently upgraded with a fabulous
new tiled floor to compliment the rest of the bathroom. If a
bath is more your speed, you can relax in the original claw
foot bath and soak away the aches and pains with a selection
of fragrant bath salts.

The Eastwood Suite:
A large,
ambient room that catches all the morning sun. This room has
a wrought iron queen size four poster bed with a top quality
mattress and top of the range Sheridan linen. The room has a
large, central chandelier, as well as tiffany style bedside
lights and flowing drapes all of which create a warm,
romantic setting. Like all the rooms, everything has been
kept original so that the history of the house is preserved
and the antique furniture gives the room a timeless quality. |

The Scott Room:
Whilst
smaller than the other two rooms, this is still a
substantial room and has been fitted out with a complete
thirties art deco bedroom suite including two single beds
and a tallboy. Like all the other rooms, there are top
quality mattresses and bed linen on the beds and the soft,
warm lighting as well as the rich, vibrant red curtains give
the room a very special glow.

Check-in time is 2.00 pm, check-out is 10.00 am or by prior
arrangement.
Lansdowne House has a non-smoking policy inside, but comfortable
provision is made for guests to smoke outside. Unfortunately, we
cannot accommodate pets.
