LANSDOWNE VILLA:
Architecturally designed and built in the late sixties, this is a very well appointed three bedroom hideaway offering peace and tranquillity. Whilst in excellent condition throughout, it is still largely original right down to light fittings and kitchen door handles and it is a very good example of late 1960’s New Zealand style. The villa is furnished with all the comforts of home. There is a large lounge with floor to ceiling windows opening onto a patio, a very comfortable lounge suite, a log burner and two well stocked book cases for you to kick back and spend a few hours catching up on your favourite authors, or, if you prefer, there is a TV and stereo for your entertainment.
There is a separate dining room with an antique kauri table and a spacious kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, or we are happy to cook for you if you would prefer.
Each of the three bedrooms has a luxurious Queen size bed with top quality duvets, fine linens & electric blankets. One of the rooms has french doors opening onto a private, sunny deck.
The bathroom is brand new and very swish and comes with its own rubber ducky...
Our guests regularly comment that the Villa has a lovely ambience and also how big and spacious the Villa is. It is very relaxing whilst offering all the comforts of home.

Lansdowne House has a non-smoking policy inside, but comfortable provision is made for guests to smoke outside. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.
