CONFERENCES

 

Lansdowne House – the ideal venue for a boutique conference or for a larger promotional event such as a product launch.  Our spacious main reception room is 24 meters by 8 metres (72 feet by 26 feet) approximately and it can be used in its entirety or it can be sectioned off into two smaller rooms (13 by 8 metres and 11 by 8 metres) with a large wooden divider.  It is our policy to have only one conference at a time at Lansdowne House so you would be free to utilise this room in whatever configuration you choose. As well as the main reception room, you would also be able to sit in comfort in our main lounge and enjoy refreshments from our well stocked bar.

 

        

 

We have extensive grounds with a large, secure parking area and expansive lawns and garden areas which offer several private spots for outdoor sessions, team building games, relaxation exercises or just somewhere to sit for a quiet moment.

 

For meals there is a wide choice of dining areas. For small groups (up to 12 people) you may like to dine in our impressive dining room and enjoy lunch seated at our 1850 Victorian table. Or, you may choose to dine 'al fresco' in our private brick courtyard and listen to the sound of birds and a trickling waterfall. If your group is bigger, tables can be set in the main reception area for a working lunch, or in summer, you may like the idea of a picnic hamper on the lawn under the trees.  In the winter when it is cold, you can enjoy lunch in front of roaring open fires.

Whether you are looking for a conference venue or a product launch, we have an extensive range of food options to offer. At Lansdowne House, every event is catered for on an individual basis. We take the time to discuss with you the purpose of your event and the type of refreshments which will best suit your needs. By doing this, you get just the right sort of food and beverages for your particular function.  Wherever possible all our produce is bought fresh on the day and everything is prepared in our own kitchens. A full bar service is also available.

 

Below we have set out a few options for you to consider. However, flexibility is paramount at Lansdowne House. Once you have told us the objectives for your conference or product launch, we will then design your event to meet your requirements.

 

 

Venue Hire Only:

 

Venue hire includes all of the above facilities with a guarantee of total security and privacy. The rooms will be set out as you require with complimentary water and mints for conferences. There will be no other conferences or functions during your time with us.

Venue only: Full day 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. $750.00 plus G.S.T.
Venue only: Half day 8.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. $550.00 plus G.S.T. 

            

 

All inclusive Conference Options:

  

Option 1:  Price:  $62.50 per person plus G.S.T.

Morning arrival with tea, coffee or squeezed orange juice.

Light  buffet lunch.

Afternoon tea, coffee or squeezed orange juice.

Venue Hire.
Equipment hire as per list.
Depart 5.00 p.m.

 

A sample light buffet lunch:
Warm, crispy bread rolls with butter pats.

Homemade bacon and egg pie.

Marinated chicken pieces.
Seasonal asparagus lightly steamed and tossed in lemon butter, served with a drizzle of hollandaise.
A minted potato salad.
A Cos lettuce salad with Italian tomatoes, cucumbers, red and yellow peppers, pinenuts, avocado, chives and more, served with homemade balsamic dressing or salad cream.
To follow: A tropical fruit platter.

 

Option 2:  Price:  $79.50 per person plus G.S.T.

Morning arrival with tea, coffee or squeezed orange juice.

Morning tea, coffee or squeezed orange juice with  homemade scones, jam and cream.
An Executive buffet lunch.
An afternoon tea, coffee or squeezed orange juice with homemade cake or biscuits.
Venue Hire.
Equipment hire as per list.
Depart 5.30 p.m.

 

A sample Executive lunch:
A selection of warm bread rolls and focacia bread with butter pats.

A warm eye fillet thickly cut and served with a choice of béarnaise or hollandaise sauces.

A smoked salmon, Cos lettuce  and avocado salad tossed in homemade balsamic honey dressing.
Seasonal asparagus lightly steamed and tossed in lemon butter, served with a drizzle of hollandaise.
A cheese and onion potato mash.
An Italian Roma tomato, onion and mint salad.

To follow: A fresh fruit platter with a chocolate truffle centrepiece, and a selection of cheeses with crispy crackers.

For groups less than 12 people, an additional supplement may apply.

 

Product Launch:

 

Cocktail Menu - From $15.00-$25.00 per person plus G.S.T. The price is dependent on the quantity of choices ordered.

We have a full bar service with competitively priced wines, beers and spirits. We also offer a wide range of non alcoholic drinks.
